When Sir Thomas Reed, Esquire was born in 1495, his father, William II-1455-1521, was 40 and his mother, Dorothy Baumont 1472-1539, was 23. He married Anne Hoo 1499-1575. They had five children. Thomas owned Barton Manor, Denford Manor, Wilts Manor, Dunstow*Oxon Manor. He died on April 25, 1556, in Berkshire, England, at the age of 61 and is buried at St Helen's Churchyard, Lancashire- formally know as St.Elyn's. His wife, Anne and daughter, Alice are also buried there.
