JACKSONVILLE — Funeral services for Vickie Durrett Dudley, age 55, of Jacksonville, are scheduled for 3:00 pm Sunday, May 22, 2011 at Antioch Methodist Church, Jacksonville with Rev. Dale Jamerson officiating.
Burial will be held at Antioch Cemetery, Jacksonville.
Services are under the direction of Autry Funeral Home, Jacksonville.
Mrs. Dudley passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 in Jacksonville.
She was born December 25, 1955 in Jacksonville, Texas.
Mrs. Dudley was formerly a Sunday school teacher at Antioch Methodist Church and was a seamstress.
She is preceded in death by her daughters Susan Diane Taylor and Nikie Nicole Dudley, parents Joe Henry and Gladys Durrett, and brothers Joe Wayne Durrett and Curtis Lynn Durrett Sr.
Survivors include husband Claude Dudley of Jacksonville; son David James Taylor of Jacksonville; daughter Melissa Ann Allen and husband Jared Charlie of Jacksonville; grandson Brent Allen Taylor of North Carolina; granddaughters Kerri Barriera, Brittany Barriera and Carlie Allen; sisters Melba Davenport of Jacksonville and Bonnie Taylor of Doyline, LA.; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Greg Davenport, Randall Chamberlin, Clint Ray, Ryan Diers, Patrick Birdwell, and John Dudley.
Honorary pallbearers will be Charlie Allen and Curtis Durrett Jr.
The family will receive friends at 2:00 pm Sunday, May 22, 2011, at Antioch Methodist Church.
