A Manhattan native, she was born Jan. 2, 1902, to Boudwyn and Dena Navis Hyink.
She had been a resident of the Gallatin Valley for most of her life, working for 30 years as a clerk at Chambers-Fisher Co. She was a member of the Christian Women's Club and the World Mission Prayer Group. Other religious service included teaching Sunday school at Grace Baptist Church and singing in the church choir.
Survivors include two sisters, Ruth Droppers of Grand Haven, Mich., and Eldy Covich of Anchorage, Alaska; two brothers, Joe W. Hyink of Holland, Mich., and Robert Hyink of San Francisco, Calif. Several nieces and nephews also survive.
She was preceded in death by two sisters and five brothers.
Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Thursday at the Dokken-Nelson Sunset Chapel. Burial will follow in the Meadowview Cemetery, Manhattan.
