Nettie Lindgren, 85, of Bozeman, died Tuesday at Bozeman Deaconess Hospital.

She was born Nov. 17, 1899, in Manhattan to Boudwyn and Dena Naves Hyink.

She received her elementary education at the Baker Creek School in Manhattan and later graduated from high school there. She was a member of the Christian Women's Club of Bozeman and an active member of the Grace Baptist Church. For 25 years she was an employee of the J.C. Penney Co.

She married William Lindgren Feb. 9, 1958, in Bozeman. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include one step-daughter, Lorene Lindsey of Canby, Ore.; one step-son, Ron of Helena; one sister, Esther Hyink of Bozeman; two brothers, Joe Hyink of Holland, Mich., and Robert Hyink of San Francisco, Calif.; one sister, Ruth Droppers of Grand Haven, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by one step-daughter, Patricia Jenson.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday at the Grace Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Meadowview Cemetery
