Mrs. Nellie Estelle (Hanson) Linkous, 58, a Cedar Grove native, apparently suffered a heart attack Thursday at her home at 110 5th Ave in Glasgow and was dead on arrival at Laird Memorial Hospital in Montgomery. Mrs. Linkous had lived at Glasgow 32 years. She was a member of the Glasgow Church of the Nazarene, where she taught Sunday School.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. Robert L. and Mrs. Hanson.
Surviving, husband, Bittle O. (Bill) Linkous, sons, Charles B. of Shrewsbury, Robert R. of Danville, Floyd P. of Logan, Rufus L. of Spring Lake, N.C., daughters, Mrs. Jean Brown of Hagerstown, Md., Mrs. Venita Hancock of Weirton, Mrs. Deloras Coburn of Glasgow, brothers, Herman Hanson, Wilford and Robert Hanson of Hugheston, Floyd of Glasgow, Orville of Columbiana, Ohio, Wesley of Cedar Grove, Dennis of Boomer, sister, Mrs. Mary Snyder of Port Neches, Texas.
The funeral will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Glasgow Church of the Nazarene, with the Rev. Brady Riffle officiating. Burial will be in Mount Lewis Cemetery at Ward.
Friends may call at the Cook Funeral Home in Cedar Grove Saturday after 5 p.m.
