The Funeral Mass for Clara L Sexton will be at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 26th, at St. Patrick's Catholic Church – West Albany in rural Millville, MN with Father Richard J Dernek officiating. Burial will be in the St. Patrick's Catholic Cemetery – West Albany in rural Millville, MN.

Mrs. Sexton, 92, of Lake City, MN died Sunday evening, May 22, 2011 at the Lake City Medical Center – Mayo Clinic Health System Hospital in Lake City, MN.

Clara Louise Anglebeck was born October 29, 1918 in Highland Township, Conception, Wabasha County, MN to Joseph and Caroline (Passe) Anglebeck. She graduated from St. Felix High School in Wabasha, MN. On August 26, 1947 she married John N Sexton at Conception. They farmed in the Millville – Zumbro Falls area in Gillford Township. In October 1983 they retired and moved to Lake City, on September 30, 1992 John died.

Clara enjoyed doing all types of needlework, making quilts, gardening, playing cards, traveling, puzzles, watching the Vikings, and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a member of St. Mary of the Lake Catholic Church in Lake City, MN and its Council of Catholic Women, and Mission Group. She was a former member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in West Albany. Clara was also a member of the Zumbro Falls and Lake City Senior Citizens.

Clara is survived by four sons, Tom (Betty) Sexton, Bill (Stephanie) Sexton, and Ken (Pat) Sexton all of Millville, MN and John (Judy) Sexton of Lake City, MN; two daughters, Rose (Ron) Tri of Rochester, MN and Teresa (Dan) Young of Plainview, MN; 17 grandchildren and 2 step-grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and 7 step great-grandchildren; one sister, Elaine Hanson of Wabasha, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one granddaughter Anne Young, four brothers, and five sisters.

Friends and family may visit from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 25th, at Schleicher Funeral Homes, Lake City Chapel in Lake City, MN and one hour prior to the service at the Church on Thursday. A Prayer Service will be at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
