Albert Baker, 54, of 427 West Sixth St., a Spanish American War veteran, died at Ball Memorial Hospital at 10:15 a.m. Wednesday following an illness of 18 days.
Surviving are the widow, Ida; a son, John Baker, of Muncie; two brothers, Reason A. Baker and William Baker, both of Bloomington, Ill.; and two sisters, Mrs. Susan Hannahan, of Shelbyville, and Mrs. Katherine Coleman, of Hinesdale, Ill.
The body was removed to the Meeks Mortuary. Services will be at the Beech Grove Chapel at 2:30 p.m. Friday, with Rev. Cornelius in charge. Burial will follow in Beech Grove Cemetery.
