[Henry & Mary Geiger owned the farm upon which iron ore was first discovered in Pennsylvania. He was a cabinet maker.] (Children of Henry and Mary were: Absalom, Daniel, Henry, Joseph, Jacob, Solomon, Eli, Susan, Mary, & Elizabeth).
Eva was a lady of refinement, and when Philip died, leaving her with virtually nothing to support her children, (a house with no floors, windows, or doors). She took her 11 children in a covered wagon to Racine Co. Wisconsin, for homesteading, when land became available about 1843. Eva lived to be 96.
Note that the spelling of the last name may be different, as some of her children changed the spelling.
