Cruz Trevino age 76, passed away Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at her home in Cedar Hill, Texas. She was born on May 3, 1935 to Pablo and Cecilia (Sanchez) Garcia in Mexico. Cruz married Jesus Trevino on November 4, 1952 in LaFeria, Texas. She did missionary work for the International Missionary of the Pentecostal Church in Mexico for 32 years.
Cruz is survived by her husband, Jesus Trevino; seven sons, Ricardo, Jorge, Jesus, Jr., Ramiro, Oscar, Felix and Carlos Trevino; two daughters, Lydia Luna and Margarita Allen; one sister, Manuela Flores; and 20 grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents Pablo and Cecilia Garcia and four brothers and sisters.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 PM Thursday, May 19, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Waxahachie.
Funeral services will be 10 AM Friday, May 20, 2011 at the Boze-Mitchell-McKibbin Chapel in Waxahachie with Pastor Jim Snyder officiating. Interment will follow at the Rosemont Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Ricardo Trevino, Ramiro Trevino, Carlos Trevino, Jesus Trevino, Jr., Jorge Trevino, and Oscar Trevino
