Singer. He was a Tango singer. Nicknamed "El Polaco," his strong personality and his peculiar singing style made him different from all the other singers of the tango genre. Goyeneche began his career in 1944, reaching success in 1956 when he joined the Anibal Troilo´s Orchestra. He was promoted to soloist after shining as an orchestra singer, and public devotion lasted until his death.
