Mrs. Lizzie Rowland, a Kelso resident from 1880 to 1920; died Saturday noon at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W.J. Morris, Tacoma, at the age of 79.
Her husband, Rance Rowland, who died in 1919, was in the logging business in this vicinity. Mrs. Rowland moved to Portland in 1920 and has been residing with her daughter in Tacoma the past three years. Other survivors are Mrs. Della Vieira, Reno, Nev.; Mrs. Oscar Wentworth and Ross Rowland, Portland, her children; Mrs. Sarah Rowland, Portland, a sister; and five grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, May 19 .... Interment will be in the Riverview cemetery.
