60, former DAILY carrier
Graveside service for Barbara Patton Bunting, 60, of Decatur will be today at 11 a.m. at Roselawn Cemetery with the Rev. H.T. Perry officiating and Roselawn Funeral Home directing.
Mrs. Bunting died Thursday, Aug. 10, 2000, at her home. She was born Oct. 5, 1939, in Sheffield. She was a graduate of Decatur High School and a former newspaper carrier for THE DECATUR DAILY. She was the daughter of the late Earl Patton and the sister of the late Robert "Bob" Patton.
Survivors include her husband, David Bunting; one son, James H. Reeves of Decatur; one daughter, Fawn Reeves Glenn of Decatur; her mother and stepfather, Lillian and Greer Black of Decatur; one sister, Martha Starkey of Scottsboro; one stepson, David B. Bunting of Olney, Ill.; three stepdaughters, Mitzi Jo Steed of Oklahoma City, Linda Hayden of Nashville and Jacqueline Thompson of Athens; four grandchildren; four stepgrandchildren; and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to UAB Cancer Research in Birmingham.
