In June 1900 Eliza was residing at Glens Falls with her parents, but by April 1910 until after January 1920 Eliza resided at Pontiac, Michigan with eldest brother Egbert Champlin. Prior to 1929 both Eliza and brother Egbert returned to Glens Falls where Egbert d. Dec. 28, 1929, with Egbert leaving his entire estate to Eliza. She was residing at Glens Falls in April 1930 with her younger sister Harriet and the latter's second husband, Patrick Hayes.
Eliza's Will, dated July 2, 1924, was proved December 31, 1931 (Warren County Surrogate File #8232). She left her estate to sister Harriet, who by 1931 was the last living Champlin sibling.
Eliza is interred at the Glens Falls Cemetery (alias the Bay Street Cemetery) at Glens Falls, NY. The master transcription of the cemetery incorrectly gives her and brother Egbert the surname of Colvin, calling Eliza the wife of "Egbert Champlin Colvin." The Colvin surname was that of Eliza and Egbert's deceased former brother-in-law Hertsel Colvin, also buried at the same location, the 1st husband of sister Harriet.
