In June 1900 Eliza was residing at Glens Falls with her parents, but by April 1910 until after January 1920 Eliza resided at Pontiac, Michigan with eldest brother Egbert Champlin. She was residing at Glens Falls in April 1930 with her younger sister Harriet and the latter's second husband, Patrick Hayes.

Eliza's Will, dated July 2, 1924, was proved December 31, 1931 (Warren County Surrogate File #8232). She left her estate to sister Harriet, who by 1931 was the last living Champlin sibling.
