Betty S. Arnold, 67, of North Little Rock, left this world at 1:00 P.M. on May 28, 2011. She was born on October 14, 1943 in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Betty is survived by her husband, Larry E. Arnold; God sisters Wanda Lynn of Warren, AR; Wilma McLaughlin of Jonesboro, AR; numerous brother and sisters-in-law and a host of friends. She was preceded in death by two sons; Brent Douglas Arnold and Brian Kirk Arnold; in addition to her parents; C.E. and Vina Stokes of North Little Rock, AR.
Betty was a long standing, faithful member of Sherwood Cumberland Presbyterian Church, a graduate of Sylvan Hills High School and employed by Arkansas Department of Medical Services. She had a very outgoing personality, loved to make new friends and witness for God. To know Betty was to love her.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, June 2, 2011 at Sherwood Cumberland Presbyterian Church, 1402 East Kiehl, Sherwood, AR, Reverend Gail Horst and Reverend Michael Qualls officiating. A 2:00 P.M. graveside committal service will be held at Prosperity Cemetery, County Road 55 & Goggans Rd, Rison, AR. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Wednesday June 1, 2011 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home, 5509 J.F.K. Blvd., North Little Rock, AR (501-791-7400).
