She was known in the family as Polly and was a legatee of her father's estate in Belmont Co. along with her sister, Sarah Hefling Robison. She was the mother of Laurinda (Bear), Vitura, Celestine, Malinda (Dougherty), Ruth, George W., Mary Ann, Rebecca (Longsworth), and John, Jr. Polly died of dropsy. Regarding her middle name, there is an ongoing story in the Billingsley family that they were related to President Andrew Jackson, and thus Polly received her middle name because of that relationship, although the connection has never been proven.
