Sarah was a daughter of James Billingsley and and his second wife, Ruth Holloway. She married in 1822 in Belmont Co., Ohio, to Fielding Hefling. She was the mother of Chalkley, Lindley, Volumnia, Lycergus, and Darius. (Her son, Fielding - or Philip - was born after Darius and before her daughter, Manty. His father is unknown.) She married for the second time in 1839 to Geo. Robison and had one daughter, Elizabeth Samantha. Sarah is remembered at the graves of both her husbands in Deersville, but is most likely buried with Fielding.
