Former Stafford Resident Died

Former Stafford resident Alfred S. Wilson died early Wednesday morning, Feb. 24, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. J. C. R. McGinness, in Wakeeney.

Mr. Wilson, known here as Sam, lived in Stafford a number of years ago with his family. He was a painter by trade. For the past three years, he had lived in Wakeeney.

Mr. Wilson was born in Missouri on Dec. 23, 1875.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. McGinness, who will be remembered as Eona Wilson, and Mrs. Wm. R. Martin of Lincoln, Neb., the former Jaunita Wilson.

Funeral services will be held in the Peacock and Soice Memorial Chapel Friday afternoon at 2 p.m. Rev. G. H. Pittman of Wakeeney will be the officiating minister.

Interment will be in the Stafford cemetery.
