MOUNT CARROLL - Mrs. Emery (Ida) Longnecker of Mount Carroll died Thursday night in Freeport Manor Nursing Home.
She was born May 2, 1887, in Maryland, daughter of Sam and Sophia (Coon) Frey. Surviving are two sons, Charles Wolfe and William Longnecker, both of Mount Carroll; three daughters, Mrs. Pearl Gums of Hagerstown, Md., Mrs. W. O. (Effie) Finkenbinder of Warren and Mrs. Warner (Mary) Zissler of Rockford; 17 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, three brothers and a sister. Funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday in Frank Funeral Home, Mount Carroll.
