OBIT: Her father, Rev. D.B. Carter, was the second Methodist preacher ever appointed pastor in this locality. Margaret was a teacher in this school and remained active in that relation for over fifty years. Her husband, Martin Ryan, well know by the people here, died some 5 years ago. Two daughters and one son are left to mourn the death of a devoted mother.
