Mrs. Elizabeth Stiers, 82, Fulton, died Saturday, April 5, at Callaway Memorial Hospital. Mrs. Stiers was born in Claysville, the daughter of William and Louise (Homeier) Kleindienst. On August 30, 1930 she married Alexander Stiers in Jefferson City. He preceded her in death on August 15, 1949. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Gene (Edith) Wolfmeier of Fulton; one son, Billy Stiers of Fulton; six step-children, Mrs. Jeanette Livingston of Granite City, Ill., Mrs. Lucille, Zeuigin of Granite City, Ill., Mrs. Margaret Kleindienst of Hermann; Mrs. Lottie Geringer of Bluffton, Cecil Stiers of University City, and Aubrey Stiers of Fulton; three brothers, Elmer Kleindienst of Mexico, Jesse Kelindeinst of Hermann, Orville Kleindienst of Bluffton; five grandchildren; and 17 step-granchildren. Funeral services for Mrs. Stiers were scheduled for 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 8, at the Blumer Funeral Home in Hermann. Burial will be at Best Bottom Cemetery in Rhineland. Visitation was scheduled for after 4 p.m. on Monday, April 7.
