Ben Jones, 81, Woodhaven, Michigan, passed away Wednesday, April 2, 2003 at the Heritage Hospital in Taylor, Michigan.
He was born in Whitley Co. on Nov 30, 1921 to Jim and Molly Walden Jones.
Survivors include his wife Versie Saylor Jones of Woodhaven, Michigan; one daughter Kelly Malisani and husband Mark of Livonia, MI; one son Marvin Jones of Trenton, MI; three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; two sisters, Delphia Jones Cupp of Hamilton, OH and Minnie Jones Allen and husband Clifford of Southgate, MI; three brothers, Simon Jones and wife Bertha of Birmingham, MI, Shelby Jones and wife Marie of Monroe, MI and Clarence Jones and wife Wanda of Williamsburg.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister Ethel Jones Perry; five brothers, Jess, Elbert, Critt, Jason and Edgar Jones.
Funeral services were held Saturday, April 5, at the Woodhaven Baptist Church in Woodhaven, MI with Rev Mark Clark officiating. Entombment followed in Michigan Memorial Gardens in the Woodside Mausoleum in Flatrock, MI.
