DEATH CLAIMED AGED WIDOW
Mrs. Georgia Mutchler, 77, Died Here Saturday Afternoon.
Mrs. Georgia Mutchler, widow of a Civil War veteran, died at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon at her home in Edina from the infirmities of old age. She was 77 years old. Mrs. Mutchler had been confined to her home more than a year.
Funeral services were conducted at the home at 2:30 o'clock Tuesday afternoon by the Rev. W. J. Imes. A vocal trio of Mrs. Frank Krueger, Mrs. A. V. Francis and Mrs. C. M. Smith sang. Burial was in Linville cemetery.
Mrs. Mutchler is survived by three sons, all of Edina: Ira, Wes and Fred Mutchler. Three grandchildren also survive.
As Georgia Blastengame Mrs. Mutchler was born in Clinton County, Indiana, July 30, 1853. She married John W. Mutchler in 1871 and to them were born ten children, six of whom died in infancy. Of the others the three survive and a son, Paul Mutchler, died in February 1918.
Mr. and Mrs. Mutchler lived in Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa following their marriage, and cane twenty-five years ago to Edina, where Mr. Mutchler died Jan. 3, 1925, and where Mrs. Mutchler spent the remainder of her life.
