John Sommers
John Sommers, 77, of R. 2, Hilbert, died today at Brown County Hospital, Green Bay.
He was born in the Town of Brillion on Dec. 8, 1879, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Stephen Sommers. He made his home with a sister, Mrs. Charles Schaefer, R. 2, Hilbert.
He is survived by a brother, Michael Sommers, and three sisters, Mrs. Schaefer, Mrs. Margaret Arns and Mrs. Edward Jansch, all of Calumet County.
Funeral services will be held Friday, 9 a.m., at the Schinderle Funeral Home, Hilbert, and 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary's Catholic Church. The Rev. Martin Jaekels, pastor, will officiate.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday. The rosary will be recited there Thursday evening.
