Robinson Constitution August 12, 1903
Nancy Jane Mitchell, relict of Thomas Mitchell, died Monday morning at her home south of Wilson school house. Aunt Jane is survived by four sons, Robert, Drew, Al and Marion and three daughters, Rosa, Mrs. W.W. Updike and Mrs. Sam Taylor. The funeral service was conducted by Elder Curtis of Palestine, at Kirk Chapel and the remains were interred in Kirk Cemetery. Mrs. Mitchell was in town Friday and returned home sick and gradually grew worse until the end came Monday.
