Mrs. Day had been a resident of this community for the past 53 years, a member of Garden Street Methodist Church & Elizabeth Fellowship of Garden Street Methodist Church. She taught school in Mont. & in a private kindergarden (sic) in Ferndale for a number of years. She is survived by 1 son, Thomas Day of Seattle, 2 daughters Mrs. Marjorie Alderson, city & Mrs. Dorothy Johnson of Eugene, Ors, 3 sisters, Mrs. Ruth Ireland of Sedro Woolley, Mrs. Susan Hays, City & Mrs. Winifred Rittenberg of Longview, Wa. 5 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren. Memorial service Sat., June 3 at 1 pm in Jones Funeral Home with Rev. Lawrence Guderian officiating. Cremation Greenacres Crematoriam. The family suggest memorials to Wash State Heart Fund.
