Anna Mae Dixon and James Davis were married on 26 July 1924 in Elkton, MD.

They had two sons; Roger Howard Davis and James Robert Davis.

Anna Mae Davis, 81, of Pennsville, died Tuesday in Southgate Health Care Center, Carneys Point, following a lengthy illness.

Mrs. Davis, who had lived in Pennsville for over 50 years, was born in Glassboro, daughter of the late William H. and Mary Dixon, and raised in Millville.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and the Philathea Circle and was a charter member of the XYZ Senior Citizens Club.

Surviving are her husband, James, to whom she had been married 63 years; a son, Roger H. of Garland, Texas; one brother, Howard Dixon of Millville; three sisters, Stella Dixon of Bridgeton, Marie Harris and Florence Sheppard of Millville; and four grandchildren.

Services will be held Friday at 11 a.m. in Laughrey Funeral Home, Pennsville, where friends may call one hour earlier.

Burial will be in Lawnside Cemetery, Woodstown.
