Mary Lucille Royce was the daughter of Winfield Scott Royce, (b Jul 2, 1885 in Albany, OR) and Deanna Marie (Frankie) Royce, (birth date unknown). The couple was married in Los Angeles, California in 1923, and Mary was born unto them on Feb 22, 1923. I also have located a picture of the Burkhart Family Reunion of 1926 in Albany, Linn County, Oregon which Winnie, Deanna and Mary attended. There is also supposedly a 1930 US Census showing Mary Lucille Royce b.1924, residing in Linn County, OR., but I have not been able to locate a hard copy of it. The only other information I have for them is that Mary's father, "Winnie", as he was known by, was an elevator operator at the Orpheum Theatre building at the time of his death on Jun 17, 1957, just a few weeks before his 72nd birthday. The family's home address was 1919 W.7th St., Los Angeles, CA. Cause of death was Coronary Thrombosis, leading to a heart attack while he was at work (location at time of death), 846 S. Broadway, Los Angeles. Her father was cremated at Restland Memorial Park, now known as Pierce Brothers Valhalla Memorial Park in North Hollywood. Her mother, noted as "Dena" on the California Death Index, died on Feb 24, 1973, also in Los Angeles County, California. The disposition of her remains is unknown at this time. Mary Lucille Royce died on Jan 15, 1999 at Oxnard, Ventura County, CA. The location of her remains is also unknown at this time. I would appreciate it if anyone having knowledge of the whereabouts of the remains of Mary Lucille Royce and/or her mother, Deanna Marie Royce, would contact me with the information as Winfield Scott Royce was my grandmother's half brother and the only other close relative she had was another half brother, George F Royce, who only lived from 1889-1890 and is buried near his mother and father at the Albany Masonic Cemetery, Albany, Linn County, Oregon.
Again, my sincerest thanks go to "SVH77" for her assistance in helping me locate my great uncle's location. She has been a great help more than once, always knowing where to look for my relatives who end up in Southern California. "SVH77", again, I thank you!! .....................................................................................................................

I have found marriage records for Mary Lucille. She married Cpt. Waymon W. Fraser on 14 Aug 1943 in La Jolla, CA. Captain Waymon W. Fraser was born 22 Jan 1918 in Monette, Arkansas to Raleigh Fraser and Relia Harris. Waymon enlisted in the US Army while living in Washoe, Nevada on 22 Aug 1940 and enlisted at Fort McDowell, Angel Isand, CA. He was assigned to the Coast Artillery Corps or Army Mine Planter Service. The marriage of Waymon and Mary produced 2 children, Mark Wayne (b.1952) and Gail Robin (b.1954). According to the Daily Times, he died at Port Chester on about 27 Jan 1993. I've found his brother and parents in the Find a Grave system but neither him nor Mary Lucille, as of 13 January 2022.
