Abigale was the daughter of James and Sarah (Wood) Whitehead. She married John Woodruff in New Jersey. John died Oct. 9, 1874 in Fairbury, Livingston, Illinois.
At the time of her death Abigale was living with her brother in law, Aaron Shaw, his daughter Priscilla Shaw Burdick and her two children Edna and Aaron Burdick.

Nearly a Centenarian
Mrs. Abigal Woodraff, sister-in-law of Mr. Aron Shaw, of Avoca, passed away Tuesday noon, at the residence of the latter, at the ripe age of 92 years. The deceased has resided with the family of Mr. Shaw for the past ten years and had won many warm friends in the vicinity where she was known. The remains were interred in the Fairbury cemetery Wednesday.
