Mrs. Rose Oswald, wife of Frank Oswald, who died at the family home
at Taus Saturday, was buried this morning with services at 10 o'clock
at St. Augustin's (sic) Catholic church at Riefs (sic) Mills, the
Rev. Schiller officiating. Burial was at the church cemetery.
Mrs. Oswald, who was Rose Hruska before her marriage, was born in the
county and was married to Frank Oswald forty-seven years ago, the
family taking up its home on the farm where the death occurred. She
was sixty-six years old, her demise was due to diabetis (sic) from
which she had been a sufferer for a number of years. Besides the
husband, she is survived by three sons, George of Green Bay, Frank
and Anton of Taus; four daughters, Mrs. Frank Nespor, Mrs. Emma Burish, Mrs.
Edward Yohanek, all of Taus and Mrs. Joseph Linsmeyer of Manitowoc Rapids; four
sisters, Mrs. Anton Matejovitz, Mrs. George Zahorik, Mrs. John Zahorik, and Mrs.
George Milbauer, and one brother, Joseph Hruska, all of the county. Twenty-one
grandchildren also survive her.
