She went to be with her Lord and Savior on Tuesday, October 12, 2010.

In 1963 she was married to Gary Vernon Woods and they were married for 47 years.

She is survived by her loving husband Gary, wonderful children, son Mark Brian Woods and wife, Stacey, of San Antonio, daughter Kristin Suzanne Woods, of Houston, and two precious grandchildren, Elijah Christian Woods and Olivia Grace Woods, of San Antonio. She is also survived by a godson, Judd Woodward Kraft. Her family was the delight of her life.

She was predeceased by her parents, and one brother, Johnny Mueller.

Her goal in life was to serve her Lord Jesus Christ, to be the best wife, mother, grandmother (Tiggy) and friend possible and to be in service to children in need.

Glenda was a faithful member of Fredericksburg Bible Church in Fredericksburg TX, a former Boy and Girl Scout leader, Sunday school teacher and PTA officer. She completed 10 years of Bible Study Fellowship and participated in various Bible studies for many years.

She belonged to Junior Forum for a number of years and served as president of Junior Forum Sustainers. She was the first lifetime board member of The Children's Shelter and held several offices during her 15 years of active participation on the board.

She served as co-chair of The Children's Shelter's capital campaign and was named Angel of the Shelter in 2008. She also served on the board of the Child Welfare League of America in Washington DC.

Glenda was a Senior Advisor for Girls Inc. of San Antonio, a member of United Way Women's Leadership Council, a grants committee member for San Antonio Area Foundation and an Advisory Board member of the Young Women's Leadership Academy.

Other areas of Service included board membership of the South Texas Habilitation Center, San Antonio Youth Literacy, and Cancer Center Council of CTRC.

She received the United Way's Unsung Hero Award for volunteerism and Time Warner Cable's Hometown Hero Award for volunteerism.

Glenda was also an active member of the Laurel Heights Garden Club, Club Giraud and the Argyle. Interment in Sunset Memorial Park ~โค~
