Died, from a coronary thrombosis, aboard the ocean liner United States, in the North Atlantic Ocean, May 8, 1955. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.

"Announcement has been made here of the marriage of Joseph Flack, son of the late Hon Roland and Mrs Flack of Grenoble, to Miss Louise Maria Ann Schmid of Vienna, Austria, in that city on August 25.
The bridgegroom, who had been stationed in Poland as first secretary of the American Embassy, began new duties in the diplomatic service in Madrid, Spain on September 25, it was reported."
