CHARLES RUDICIL DEAD.
Charles Rudicil, 75 years old, died at his home near Colony on Wednesday, December 27. He had suffered a paralytic stroke ten days, previous and was unable to speak after that. He leaves two daughters, Mrs. Caroline Puls, of Woodriver, Illinois, who came several weeks ago to keep house and care for him, and Mrs. Lonnie Runquist, of near Edina. There are four living sons: Joe, of Colony; John, of Stronghurst, Illinois; Hiram, of near Baring, and Fred George, died in a South Carolina camp during the World War. His wife, who was Sarah Hudnut, died many years ago. The funeral was held from the M. E. church at 11 a. m., Saturday. Services were conducted by the Rev. Mr. Scott. Burial was in the Colony cemetery. Those attending from a distance were Elijah Hudnut, a brother-in-law, and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Carmean, the latter a niece, of Quincy.
