PARK VALLEY - Melva Tracy Kunzler, loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away April 7, 2008 at Brigham City, Utah, of natural causes.

Melva was born February 3, 1925 in Yost, Utah the daughter of Abraham and Clara Tracy. Melva was raised in Yost and graduated from Box Elder High School in Brigham City. She married M. Dee Kunzler, July 10, 1946, in the Logan LDS Temple, and then spent the next 62 years on the ranch with Dee in Park Valley.

Melva was an active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions which included president of the Relief Society and the Young Women organizations.

Melva was a meticulous housekeeper and enjoyed keeping her home and yard clean and attractive. Her life was centered around her family and they meant the world to her. She has left a legacy of hard work, compassion and kindness for her family to follow.

Surviving are her husband, Dee, her daughters Cheryl (Glen) Leak, Rexburg, Idaho; Marilyn (Stan) Moncur, Heyburn, Idaho; and a son, Del Dee (Kellie) Kunzler, Park Valley, Utah. Melva has 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren who will miss her dearly. Also surviving is a brother, Merlin Tracy, sisters, Anita Kelson and Darlene Pickering.

She was preceded in death by a son, Tracy Kunzler, her parents and a sister, Verla Jensen.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 11, 2008 at the Park Valley LDS Church, at 12, noon with a viewing prior to the services from 10:30 to 11:45. There will be a viewing for family and friends on Thursday, April 11th from 6 to 8 p.m. at Rogers and Taylor Funeral Home, Tremonton, Utah.

Interment will be at the Park Valley Cemetery.
