Harold H. (Buzz) Boyer Sr., 70, of 18 Cleveland Street, Addison entered into rest of Friday, March 8, 2002 at home following an extended illness.
He was born in McKean County, PA a son of Bert E. and Cecelia O'Bleski Boyer. He married the former Doris Jane Wright on Nov. 17, 1953 in Jeffersonville, IN.
He was a US Army veteran having served in the Korean Conflict with the rank of Corporal. Buzz was a member of the Campbell American Legion Post #1279 and the Addison Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #3904.
He was employed at the former Ingersoll-Rand Foundry in Painted Post and the Metamora Company in Elkland, PA prior to retirement.
He is survived by his wife Doris; two sons, Harold H. "Buzz" (Mel) Boyer Jr. of Canandaigua, Michael M. (Pam) Boyer of Morrisville, NC; a daughter, Deanna J. (Mrs. Richard) Steadman of Spring Hill, FL; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren; three brothers, Clair V. (Viola) Boyer of Slidell, LA, David J. (Ruth) Boyer of Addison, Robert (Charlene) Boyer of Elgin, TX; a sister, Mary I. (Mrs. Neil) Baker of Tioga, PA; several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents and a brother Bert Boyer.
