Alfred J. Becker, 79, Bridgewater Township, Route 1, Dundas, died Tuesday morning, April 29, in Abbott-Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m. in St. Lawrence Church, Faribault, with the Rev. James R. Murphy, pastor, officiating. Interment will be in St. Lawrence Cemetery.
Friends may call at Parker-Kohl Funeral Home from 2 to 9 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday until the service. Parish vigil prayers will be recited Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. with members of the St. Lawrence Society attending. He married Gertrude Bauer April 27, 1949, in Hastings. He had farmed all his life in Bridgewater Township. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; a son, Gary of Dundas; a daughter, Mrs. Loren (Mary) Pecore of Northfield; two grandchildren; a sister, Mrs. Margaret Kotz of Faribault; and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill and Matt Becker
