Obituary

Bedford Gazette: Friday, June 10, 1904
Mrs. Samuel D. Fisher
Mrs. Lile J. Fisher, wife of Samuel D. Fisher, died at her home near Warriors Mark on May 28th. She was born on September 28, 1857. The deceased had been suffering from muscular rheumatism for the last fifteen years, having been unable to walk for almost ten years. Though her afflictions were many, she bore them very patiently and cheerfully unto the end. She was highly esteemed and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was a daughter of the late George N. Ellis of Lovely, this county, who passed to the spirit world just four weeks before her death. She was a member of the United Bretheren church since she was fourteen years of age. She leaves to mourn their loss, her husband and the following children: Ira A; Charity, Mary and Erues, all at home. Four sisters also survive: Mrs. Emanuel Calihan of Ryot; Mrs. John H. Smith of Newry; Miss Nora Ellis of Lovely and Mrs. Clarence Berryhill of Waynesville, Ohio. Interment in the Friends Cemetery at Half Moon Valley, Centre County, PA.
