Weeks, Dorothy passed away around 7 p.m. Thursday, February 5, 2009 at the age of 105. The eldest daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Roland Menown and a St. Louis resident for over 90 years, Dorothy graduated from Washington University where she lettered in basketball, softball and field hockey. There she also took up Bridge, at which she excelled well into her nineties. Her strong community spirit was evidenced in many ways: Brownie/Girl Scout leader, president of the PTA and the League of Women Voters, and eventually Grand Matron of the Order of Eastern Star. She is survived by her only daughter Sharon Siegel, her son-in-law Jack Siegel and her granddaughter Ariane Vinson. Services: Funeral from KUTIS AFFTON Chapel, 10151 Gravois, on Mon., Feb. 9, 10 a.m. Interment Bellefontaine Cemetery.
