Jenene (Nene) Osborn, a long time Logan, New Mexico resident, passed away on Tuesday, October 13, 2009, in Amarillo, Texas following an extended illness.
Jenene was born April 10, 1934, in Hudson, New Mexico to Ralph and Stella Love. She had been a life time resident of Logan, New Mexico and an active member of the Logan Church of Christ. She was retired from the Logan School systems where she cooked for many years. She enjoyed spending time with her many grandchildren and greatgrandchildren.
Surviving Jenene are 3 sons, Dan Osborn and Mary, Steve Osborn and Trina, and Scott Osborn and Leslie all of Logan, New Mexico; 1 daughter, Cindy Barber and Rob of Logan, New Mexico; 7 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Stella Love; her husband of 49 years, Bill Osborn; 4 grandchildren, Cody Barber, Coler Barber, Delanie Barber, and Trent Barber; 4 sisters, Opal Chance, Mollie Mouser, Bille Smith, and Ada Hass and one brother, Clint Love.
Services celebrating her life will be conducted Friday, October 16, 2009, beginning at 10:00 AM in the Pack Gym at the Logan School with Mr. Keith Feerer, Minister, officiating, with dinner following in the Logan School Cafeteria. Interment will follow in the family plot of the Logan Cemetery, Logan, New Mexico. Pallbearers will be her grandsons, Justin Osborn, Todd Osborn, Tanner Osborn, Wesley Osborn, Cimmaron Osborn, Ray Sharp, and Wayne Cordova. Honorary Pallbearers will be all of her nieces and nephews.
