THE PARIS NEWS, May 28, 2002: CLARKSVILLE, Charles Woods, 58, of Paris died Friday, May 24, 2002. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 29 at the Citizen Funeral Home Chapel in Clarksville with the Rev. George Rape officiating. Burial will follow in Fairground Cemetery. He was born Jan. 22, 1944 in Paris to Obie Woods and the late Juanita James. Survivors include his father, Obie Woods of Clarksville; three daughters, Cindie Gamble of Mount Pleasant, and Rachel Woods and Debra Waller both of Clarksville; two sons, Charles Steven Woods of Clarksville and Paul Woods of Houston; his brother, Sammie Woods of Detroit; four sisters, Besty Asagba and Mary Ellis both of Clarksville, Tommie Woods of Paris and Doris Dockins of Mount Pleasant; five grandchildren; three God-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
