Services for Willie Lee Rice were held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, February 18, 1990 at Ardoin Chapel with burial in the Oakdale Cemetery.
Bro. Bob Wallace and Bro. Kenneth Crumley officiated. Willie Lee Rice, 97, of Jennings, died at 4:15 a.m., February 17, 1990 in Jennings Amer. Legion Hospital.
Survivors include one; son, Rev. W.C. Rice of Pascagoula, Ms.; three daughters, Muriel Swarthout of Oakdale, Frances Chelette of Jennings, and Mildred Etheridge of Malakoff, Texas; one sister, May Cooper of Sheridan, Ark.; seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren.
Pallbearers were James Luedecke, William Ray, Darrel Chelette, Rob Ray Lanier, M.A. Milligan and Douglas Fontenot.
