Lapel Man Dies at Home of Niece
Lapel, Jan. 9 --- Parker Stottlemyer, age 70, died today at 2 p.m. at the home of a niece, Mrs. Maxine Chaney, of Lapel following a lingering illness. The body was removed to the Fisher Brothers funeral home where friends may call after 1 p.m. Wednesday.

Mr. Stottlemyer was born in Madison County and spent his entire life in this community. Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Rowena Moore, and Mrs. Linnie Presser; one brother, Richard Stottlemyer, several nieces and nephews all of Lapel. Funeral arrangements have not been completed.

Stottlemyer Rites Today at Lapel
Lapel, Jan 10---Funeral services for Parker Stottlemyer, age 70, who died Tuesday at the home of a niece, Mrs. Maxine Chaney, will be held Thursday at 1:30 p.m. at the Fisher Brothers funeral home with the Rev. David Hancock in charge. Burial will be in Brookside cemetery.
