Mickie Harrison Kyle, 99, of West died Thursday, February 3. She was born January 8, 1901 in Woodbury in Hill County, daughter of Brice and Rose Harrison. She was an elementary school teacher in McLennan and Hill Counties for 35 years before retiring in 1965. She married Barnie Stanley Kyle
April 30, 1924 in West, and he preceded her in death May 17, 1973. She was a Methodist. Survivors include: one daughter and son-in-law, Peggy Manell Kyle Ayers and Robert Ayers of Waco; three grandsons; six great-grandchildren and one great-great-grand daughter. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, February 6, at Aderhold Funeral Home Chapel in West with Rev.Lester Adams officiating. Burial was at Bold Springs Cemetery near West. Memorials
