James E. Shrader, 60, 455 Maple Grove Road, Hanover, died at Hillview House Saturday evening.

Born in Adams County, he was a son of the late Charles and Corrine B. Carbaugh Shrader.

He was a member of the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in McSherrystown. He served in the Marines during WWII.

His wife, Helena T. Long Shrader, died in 1967.

Surviving are five daughters,: 10 grandchildren: five sisters,; seven brothers,.

Services will be held Wednesday meeting at the Feiser Funeral Home in New Oxford at 8:15 p.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church with the Rev. Thomas I. Mannion as celebrant

Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery, New Oxford.

Friends may call at the funeral home Tuesday evening from 7-9 p.m. with prayers at 8 p.m.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association or South Central Pa.,488 W. Market St., York, Pa., 17400.
