Jennie married Otto A. Olson in Lincoln County on October 10, 1906. They had two known children, Andrew B. Olson (1906-1980) and Herman A. Olson (1908-?). Otto died in 1939 and is buried in Merrill Memorial Park next to Jennie. On February 8, 1943 Jennie married George Carver in Cook County, Illinois. George died in October 1949.
After living in Wausau, Wisconsin for a number of years, Jennie lived in her own house on a small farm northeast of Wausau with son Andy's family on Golf Road. Jennie kept a number of pets and was good with animals. Family members, and perhaps especially the children, fondly remember visits to Aunt Jennie's.
Jennie was a member of the 50-50 Homemakers Club of the Town of Texas in Marathon County, and the Women's Association of the Presbyterian Church in Wausau.
She was survived by both of her sons, Andrew Olson of Wausau and Herman Olson of Whittier, California, a step-son Norman C. Carver of Wausau, a brother Emil Brandenburg of Wausau, and sisters Olga (Mrs. Henry Rusch) of Madison, Wisconsin and Evelyn (Mrs. Albert Pfaff) of Whittier, California.
Her obituary appeared in the June 9, 1958 edition of the "Wausau Daily Record Herald."
