Obit: Wanda Colleen Maddox, 87, former longtime resident of the Pinhook Community passed away Saturday, July 13, 2013 at Legend's Healthcare.

She was born on April 19, 1926 in Oilton, Oklahoma a daughter of William Archie and Fannie Lou Gladys Bias Gray. She was a longtime employee of First National Bank, Main Tire Store, and owned a dress shop. Mrs. Maddox was a member of the Woodland United Methodist Church.

She married Tom (T.J.) Maddox on July 21, 1943 in Stinnett, Texas. He preceded her in death on June 29, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her children Linda Gail Maddox Barber, Wanda Jo Maddox Janeway, Larry Bob Maddox; a great-granddaughter Ellen Ashley Bruce; brother and two sisters.

Survivors include her grandchildren Darrell Bruce and wife Sally of Paris, Christi Bruce of Paris, Doug Janeway and wife Barbara of Flower Mound, Barry Janeway and wife Kim of St. Lucie, Fl., Kim Maddox of Purcell, OK, Jennifer Ritchey and husband Sam of Sulphur Springs; 12 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great–grandchildren; sisters Sue Robertson and Connie Cook.

Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Monday, July 15, 2013 in the chapel of Fry-Gibbs Funeral Home with Rev. Jerry Irvin and Rev. Carl Sterling officiating. Burial will follow in the Woodland Cemetery with Darrell Bruce, Doug Janeway, Jay Dykes, Doug Douglas, Wylie Dykes, Sam Janeway serving as pallbearers. Honorary pallbearers will be Hunter Bruce, Eric Fountain, Greg Ryan, Scott Dudley, Christopher Janeway, and Sloan McGahee. If desired in lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Woodland United Methodist Church.
