He was born Sept. 22, 1953, in Silver City, and has been employed as a lead loan processor for Weyerhawser Mortgage Co. in Woodland Hills, Calif. He attended St. Charles Boromeo Catholic Church in North Hollywood, CA., where a vigil service was held Monday, Feb. 21, with the Rev. Stece Woodland officiating.
Survivors include his parents, Arturo and Luz Aguirre of Silver City; a sister, Zenaida A. Rivera, and her husband, Richard of Las Cruces; and two brothers, Tommy Aguirre and Arthur Aguirre Jr. both of Silver City. He is also survived by several uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by a brother, Carlos C. "Killer" Aguirre, in 1968.
Cremation was entrusted to the care of Abbott & Hast Funeral Home in Los Angeles.
