In 1807 they moved to Franklin County, Indiana. In February, 1821 they moved to Rush County, Indiana, and established a homestead on Little Flat Rock, three miles from the place where Rushville now stands.

Per the History of Wabash County, under Elijah Hackleman, she died in Rush County on June 20, 1845, but the location of her burial is not stated.
