Mrs. Adams was born May 25, 1926 in Chilton County to the late John Wesley Burt and Lee Allison Broadhead Burt. Mrs. Adams was a longtime member of the Prattville Community Church. For many years, she lovingly baked and sold bread to help purchase cookware and other items for the church's kitchen.
She is survived by four children, Jean Musselman, Rodger (Angela) Gandy, Jane (Max) Leatherwood and Henry Gandy all of Prattville; 2 sisters, Ruth Gandy and Carolyn Jones; brother, Felix (Jean) Burt; 9 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild and 5 wonderful ladies that provided loving care over the last 5 years.
In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial contributions to be made to the Central Alabama Aging Consortium.
