Michelle Duncan
Michelle Marie (Amburn) Duncan, 41, of Port Orchard, WA, died April 9, 2006, at the Silverdale Harrison Medical Center from complications during child birth.

Michelle was born March 9, 1965, in Boise, ID, to George and Maria (Balderrama) Amburn. She graduated from South Kitsap High School in Port Orchard in 1983.

Michelle was first and foremost a mother who took care of her children. At times she worked three jobs at once to provide for her family. Previously she was a cake decorator at Costco and tended bar at The Keg Restaurant. Earlier in her life she was co-owner of the Sports Stop Plus in Port Orchard.

On February 4, 2006, Michelle married Mark Duncan in Reno, NV. She loved to be outdoors in the warm sun; enjoyed flowers, especially iris' and snapdragons; and scrapbooking with family members. She was known for her giving spirit, her love of being with children, and playing like she was a child herself.

Michelle is survived by her husband, Mark Duncan, of Port Orchard; son, K.C. Krause, of Port Orchard; daughters, Mackenzie Krause and Maguire Michelle Duncan, both of Port Orchard; parents, George and Marie Amburn, of Port Orchard; brother, George (Valerie) Amburn, of Bellevue, WA; sister, Kimberly Roach, of Puyallup, WA; grandmother, Lucille Amburn, of Bothell, WA; and former husband, Kevin Krause, of Port Orchard, WA.

A viewing will be held Saturday, April 15, 2006, from 9:00AM until the service time at 1:00PM both at Rill's Life Tribute Center, 1151 Mitchell Ave, Port Orchard, WA 98366. A reception will follow in the Tribute Center Hospitality Room.
