Mrs. Annie (May) Nugent,a well known employee and resident of the Logan House died suddenly yesterday evening at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Walter Hauk, 118 East Fourth Avenue, death being due to an attack of the heart which she suffered shortly after returning to the home of her daughter after services at St. Mark's Catholic Church. Mrs. Nugent, in apparently the best of health, left the Logan House to attend services at St. Mark's Church last evening. She left the church about 8:30 where she then went to the home of her daughter where she was suddenly taken ill. She lived but fifteen minutes after suffering an attack of heart trouble. She was born in England on July 26, 1861 and had been a resident of United States for 51 years. For the past fifteen years she had been employed in the Logan House laundry. Her husband died 31 years ago. She is survived by three daughters and one son: Mrs. William C. Schmidt, Mrs. Charles Burket, Mrs. Walter Hauk, of this city, and Joseph of Ohio. One brother, John May of Houtzdale, and two sisters, Mrs. Katie Schmocker (sp?) of (?), Mrs. Charles Walters of Altoona and two half brothers, Harry Woods of Pontiac, Michigan and Charles Woods of ??. Twelve grandchildren also survive. She was a member of St. John's Catholic Church.
